First, a liquid herbal extract is made from three species of lichen that are harvested from various trees in the wild. Ethanol acts as a solvent and preservative, enabling the extraction of a wider range of phytochemicals. This includes phytochemicals that are not water-soluble, such as alkaloids, resins, and essential oils. One of the lichens is known to facilitate DNA repair. Our lichen extract is aged for four weeks highly concentrated, resulting in a product that is 20 times stronger than a typical tincture.
